VRT Partner, C.J. Chavera has trained hundreds of U.S. Marines, taking many through their actual military boot camp experience. His focus was to prepare both their minds and bodies for peak performance. After leaving the military, C.J. continued his work as a personal trainer. He quickly became one of the most coveted fitness experts in the Bay Area due to his success in achieving healthy, measurable results for his clients
During this time he realized that he could reach more clients with his training methods by providing personal training, but in a group environment. He knew first hand the valuable motivation, accountability and results that come with group training from his experience with boot camps. He also realized that there was economy to be achieved for clients who wanted and needed the individual instruction of a personal trainer, but who were not ready to make the investment.
VRT Boot Camp encompasses much of the same training methods that are utilized in 1-on-1 personal training. Each client documents their individual goals – physically, mentally and emotionally – in a consultation session with a personal trainer. Depending on a client’s condition and desired state, a balanced meal plan is developed to help achieve these goals, increase their energy level, activate their metabolism and change unhealthy eating patterns
From there, the client’s physical stats are documented as a starting point. These stats include weight, body fat, circumferences, a posture and balance assessment, and various exercises to determine the physical condition and fitness level of the client.
Throughout the boot camp session, clients are tasked at their own pace through a four-week progressive exercise program consisting of cardio development, resistance, strength, movement, core development, balance, stretching and foam rolling. They are educated on nutrition and the dietary effects on their metabolism, energy levels, fat production and weight. They are also educated on the benefits of supplements to help maximize their overall health and fitness regime
Boot Camp concludes with a final round of physical stats with a report scientifically documenting their results based on their level of participation. They are also awarded a certificate of completion, a t-shirt and an engraved dog tag commemorating their accomplishment and their commitment to their overall health, fitness and longevity.
VRT Boot Camp has proven time and time again to substantially impact the lives of its participants who make a commitment to the program and who are seeking a body tighter than their schedules. …And a longer, healthier life! |
